Buddy’s Jewelry Family
Tommy Turner
Tommy is a graduate of North Carolina State University. He graduated with a Textile Engineering degree, put that degree to work in Hopewell, Virginia, where he worked at Allied Chemicals. He remained with this company for six years, until he decided to transition into the family jewelry business in 1978. He began running the Mt. Olive location of Buddy’s Jewelry, and then in 1982 he opened a second location in Dunn, NC. The Mt. Olive location was moved from downton Center Street to its existing location in 1984. Tommy then had the desire to Buddy’s Jewelry again, and opened the Goldsboro store in 1995. He has been married to Pam Turner for 28 years and is the proud father of three children: Scott, Brandi, and Ramsey. Scott and Brandi work in the family business, and Ramsey is a student at East Carolina University.
Brandi Worth
Brandi is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received a degree in Communications. Fresh out of college, she started working in the family business at the Buddy’s Jewelry in Mt. Olive. She has been working with Buddy’s for 11 years. Brandi enjoys being out on the front line, interacting with customers everyday; she is in tune with the needs, desires, and motivations of the jewelry industry. She is married to her best friend, Chris Worth, and they have two beautiful boys, Turner and Isaac.

Kristen Moody
Kristen in a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. This successfully gives her the grading and identification skills to become an appraiser, buyer, and retailer. Kristen is a warm, cheerful soul. She is a caregiver to her customers. She interacts with customers on a daily basis making them feel right at home. You know your family heirlooms and treasures can be trusted with her to appraise and care for. She is team player who makes shopping with Buddy’s a wonderful experience.

Prince Shipman
Prince is a bench jeweler. He has been with Buddy’s for three years and has grown in leaps and bounds. He is constantly continuing his knowledge to advance in his field. Prince is creative and loves to take jewelry and make it look new again, bringing smiles to his customers. He enjoys a good challenge and when new designs or creations are thrown his way, he makes them each a masterpiece.

Scott Mohiser
Scott is the manager of Buddy’s Jewelry in Goldsboro. He is a graduate of the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at Wayne Community College. He worked as a police officer in Mount Olive for two years. While keeping his law enforcement certification, he came to work in the family business and has been here for 16 years. Scott genuinely loves people and makes a point of getting to know his clients and what’s going on in their lives so he can help them find the perfect piece of jewelry for their special occasions. He has been married to Sharon Mohiser for 11 years, and they have two amazing boys, Brady and Carson.

Colby Kicia
Colby is the manager of the Dunn location. She is a graduate of Mount Olive College with a B.A. in English. She has been with Buddy’s Jewelry for 5 years. Colby enjoys working with the public. Her heart and passion for her customers is as big as her smile. She is creative and hard working. Colby played volleyball for Mount Olive College, where she met and fell in love with her husband, Mike Kicia. When not working, she coaches club volleyball for WAVE of Wayne County.

Eggbert Wise
Eggbert is a bench jeweler and watch repairman. He has faithfully been with Buddy’s Jewelry for 30 years. Eggbert has attended many schools to further his training in Jewelry Custom Design and Repair Work. He has travelled to Alabama, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Virginia, and Belgium on buying trips, educational seminars, and schools. Eggbert, known as ”Buddy”, is loved by his customers. He is a genuine, kind-hearted gentleman who loves to make people smile and feel appreciated. He has been married to his wife Kay for 39 years, and they have two daughters, Angie and Kim, and five grandchildren.

Angela Howes
Angela is a bench jeweler, and she works in both our Dunn and Goldsboro locations. She has been with Buddy’s Jewelry for five years. Angela is originally from Niagra Falls, New York, where she started her career as a silversmith. She has been in the jewelry industry for 14 years. Angela loves to custom design that special piece for jewelry for her customers, that she knows they can treasure, love, and pass down as a family heirloom. When a challenge is thrown at her, she exceedingly overcomes it with outstanding service and a guaranteed win. Angela is married to her high school sweetheart, Pete Howes, and they have two amazing Great Danes, Gypsy and Harley.

Victoria Sanders
Victoria works behind the scenes upstairs in the office at the Mount Olive location. She is our office manager and bookkeeper. She has worked with Buddy’s for 3 years. She graduated from Mount Olive College with a B.S. in Accounting. Victoria puts her knowledge of accounting and her desire to help others to use everyday, making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Victoria has been married for two years to her husband, Mike Sanders.
